Long-term care presents adjustment issues for many residents and their family members. Circumstances and aging can also exacerbate existing mental health problems and past trauma. GCSI can provide therapy for residents and family. Therapists advise staff on how to work with all of them, too.
Where Do You Start?
There is no cost to you in most cases. It's our job to determine residents' Medicare insurance eligibility quickly and let you know. GCSI works with your Social Services team or any point person you select. A local psychologist or LCSW will come to your community to provide therapy to residents as need it. Please ask us about other insurance options.
